What is the ISUCard?
It's your student/faculty/staff ID card The ISUCard carries your university ID number and photo. Your university ID number is not the same as your social security number, though some university departments may request your social security number.

How do you get it and when do you need it?
You will need to go to 0530 Beardshear Hall on central campus prior to the start of Fall Orientation to get your ISU card. You will need your ISU ID number and will fill out a form upon arrival to the ISU card office.
You will also need a building ID badge, which will be ordered the first week of classes and you will get an e-mail notifying you when and where to pick them up.
UNL students will have their cards distributed to them at Fall Orientation and will get their building ID badges prior to starting classes in their 3rd year.
PURPOSE OF YOUR CARD
- It's your identification card
The ISUCard verifies your status as an ISU student, faculty or staff member and provides access to university services and facilities, such as AccessPlus and the Lied Recreation/Athletic Facility.
- It's your access card
Enables you entry into designated CVM building doors access card.
- It's your library card
The ISUCard is your passport to ISU Library services.
- It's an ATM card
You have the option of making your ISUCard your ATM card by opening a checking account at U. S. Bank. Income paid to Iowa State University by U.S. Bank for services associated with the ISUCard are used to support the ISUCard Office and student programs.
Access your CyCash account
Students, you can activate your CyCash account through AccessPlus by depositing up to $500 through either a direct debit from your checking/savings account or by charging your University Bill. By activating the CyCash account, your ISUCard acts just like money and can be used at a variety of campus locations, including the Gentle Doctor Cafe.
Report lost or stolen ISUCards immediately in AccessPlus under ISU ID's or to the ISUCard Office, (515) 294-2727(515) 294-2727. Unauthorized use of your ISUCard could result in some liability. There is a $25 fee to replace your ISUCard.
