What do you want to know?

Our mandate, as an assessment office, is to determine what questions need to be answered to improve our curriculum, and to provide answers to those questions. As an ISU faculty or staff member, student, or alumnus, you have unique insight into the college, and its curriculum. Perhaps questions have occurred to you that if answered, would contribute to the effectiveness of our curriculum, or would provide the college as a whole with needed insight. We would like to help you answer those questions.

Office of Curricular and Student Assessment

Scientists understand that advances in understanding occur when important questions are addressed using systematic, theory based, scientific processes of inquiry. Throughout the veterinary college many scientists are constantly employing these processes to find answers to important questions involving diseases, therapies, and other important questions related to veterinary medicine. Our office is part of this effort. We employ systematic scientific processes to understand the relationship between the college's curricular practices and the knowledge and skills our students gain.
