Veterinary Ocular Histopathology: The Instructors

 

Joseph S. Haynes DVM, PhD, Diplomate ACVP
Professor and Chair of Veterinary Pathology Department, Iowa State University

Dr. Haynes, a diplomate of the ACVP for 26 years, has taught in the veterinary curriculum at Iowa State University for 25 years. He has been involved with the Diagnostic Ocular Pathology Service at ISU for the past 10 years and, he has instructed ophthalmology and pathology residents in ocular pathophysiology and histopathology during that time.

 

 

 

Dr. Elizabeth Whitley DVM, PhD, Diplomate ACVP
Associate Professor of Veterinary Pathology, Iowa State University

Dr. Whitley has provided ocular pathology instruction for ophthalmology and pathology residents, as well as professional students and graduate veterinarians, for 13 years at Auburn University and for the last two years at Iowa State University. She participated as an instructor at the 2004 and 2006 Histologic Basis of Disease courses presented by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. She has participated in the ocular pathology diagnostic services at both Iowa State and Auburn Universities.
