Pharmacological Services

The CYCADS section of the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory at Iowa State University is composed of a board-certified clinical pharmacologist and toxicologists supported by analytical chemists. The group is centered around a laboratory facility with a focus on high throughput analyses intended to quantify exogenous and endogenous compounds (e.g. drugs, toxins and biomarkers) in organic matrices. We provide analytical services in support of multiple sample, known analyte, pharmacological and toxicological research for academic, industry, and government entities.

We have rigorous and robust procedures in place to deal with regulatory scrutiny and have a vast array of developed and validated analytical methods focused on pharmacology.
