- Participants will learn about diseases of puppies, current breeding techniques, veterinary management of stud dogs, semen evaluation, shipping, and freezing, testicular and prostatic disease, and hermaphroditic conditions.
- After attending this seminar you will have been exposed to the most current medical (surgical, genetic) and reproductive technologies allowing you to be a more effective breeder.
- Our orthopedic surgeon will discuss stifle injuries and orthopedic certification programs (hips, elbows, etc).
- Dr. Ned Patterson of the University of Minnesota, the scientist who discovered the gene responsible for Exercise-Induced Collapse in Laborador Retrievers, will deliver our keynote dinner address on genetic disease in dogs.
The Cost of registration is $150 ($75 student registration) includes breakfast, lunch and banquet dinner.
