ISU-Health Research Initiative Infectious Diseases Symposium 2013

On behalf of Iowa State University's Health Research Initiative Project entitled 
"The Development of Novel Strategies for the Efficient Diagnosis, Prevention, Control, and Treatment of Infectious Diseases"
 We are proud to announce a unique Symposium Event on April 22-23rd, 2013
featuring experts and collaborators from the three investigative areas of 
Vaccines/Diagnostics/Therapeutics (VDT), 
Pathogenesis and Host Responses (PHR),
 and Transmission/Epidemiology/Diagnostics (TED). 

The speakers at this symposium are a collection of scientists from across the country personally invited by Iowa State faculty. 
All are firmly invested in the fight against infectious diseases of humans and animals in their research programs.
*The Health Research Initiative funding provided by ISU's VPRD Office supports the formation and strengthening of  interdisciplinary research for the pursuit of large-scale grants and contracts in the areas of animal, human, plant and environmental health.
