TransOva Genetics

Trans Ova Genetics began business in 1980 under the vision of Dr. David Faber, as a premier “on-farm” embryo transfer (ET) service organization which was an extension of a large-animal veterinary practice. Thirty years later, the original embryo transfer team members: Dr. Faber, Dr. Daryl Funk and Diane Broek, are all still actively involved in the business. Built on the reputation, commitment and expertise of its founders, Trans Ova Genetics continues to focus on core competencies of outstanding animal husbandry, technological advancements and a commitment to improved agricultural applications of these principles. Today, Trans Ova Genetics continues to offer industry-leading embryo transfer technologies, in addition to advanced reproductive technologies, including in-vitro fertilization (IVF), sexed-semen, genetic preservation and cloning. The commitment to a team approach ensures greater success with the embryo transfer processes and has become an industry standard-of-excellence. On-going research and applied science also allow Trans Ova Genetics to develop and implement new technologies that will help move the science of bovine genetic improvement forward rapidly.
