Wanted: Veterinarian with interest and experience in large animal practice especially food animal with dairy experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take over and further develop the food animal and dairy practice, with the opportunity to own for the right individual. The area has numerous large dairies within the immediate practice radius which have the potential for further practice devolvement. There is a need for an interest in small ruminant practice, including sheep and goats. The four veterinarian practice is twenty years old and has a new 8000 square foot physical plant with inside haul in working facilities and modern field working equipment. Ultrasound, endoscope, X-ray with automatic processor, portable cattle tub, hydrolytic working chute and tilt table are some of the equipment available. Salary will be based on experience and/or percentage of revenue generated. Brookings has an approximate population of 23,000 and excellent culture and school environments. It is home to South Dakota State University with a student population of 12,700 students. Brookings is located fifty miles north of Sioux Falls, which has excellent air traffic connections and cultural activity for the three state area.
