Independent Student Travel to Mexico
Group of Iowa State and Tuskegee University students on a May 2008 mobility trip to Guadalajara, Mexico.
Iowa State University is partnered with the University of Guadalajara in Mexico through a North American FIPSE (Fund for the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education) grant. The grant provides students with a stipend to help defray costs of studying in the Mexico. Fluency in Spanish is not required and the University of Guadalajara can accommodate students interested in both large and small animal practice.
To reflect and evaluate their experiences, students participate in daily discussion sessions.
