Research interests are in educational assessment, peer education in medical curricula and in development of pathology diagnostics.  As a member of the Comparative Pathology Core, Dr. Fales-Williams serves as a project pathologist on a variety of studies.

Teaching

V Pth 342, Anatomic Pathology I, instructor-in-charge.  Required course for first-year veterinary students, 3 credits,  two 1-hour lectures per week and two 2-hour labs per week.

V Pth 456, Necropsy Laboratory Practicum (senior necropsy rotation).  Responsible for 24 rotations (1 credit per rotation) for each senior class.  Includes ISU College of Veterinary Medicine senior students, ECFVG students, and Ross University students (110-125 per year).

V Pth 409, Introduction to Veterinary Cytology and Laboratory Techniques.  Required course for third-year veterinary students, 1 credit, meets once per week for 1-2 hours.

V Pth 551, Postmortem Pathology Laboratory, instructor-in-charge, 1-3 credits.
