Frederick Douglass Patteron

The Frederick Douglass Patterson Scholarship honors Dr. Patterson, who served as president of the Tuskegee Institute and is the founder of the United Negro College Fund. He graduated from Iowa State's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1923. Scholarships will be awarded to current and incoming DVM students.

Recipients shall be students who through their experiences, activities and academic work will contribute to study body diversity as determined by the administering authority.
