Dr. Mott was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She earned an undergraduate degree in Zoology from Southern Illinois University. In 1997 she graduated from Iowa State with her DVM.
Since 2002, Dr. Mott has been a small animal practitioner at Family VetCare in Arizona. The practice has three locations with 12 veterinarians. Dr. Mott works in the Phoenix office. Her areas of special interest include soft tissue laser surgery, internal medicine and preventive medicine. She’s a member of the AVMA and Arizona VMA.
In her spare time, Dr. Mott enjoys cycling, hiking, dancing, yoga, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She plans to ride in RAGBRAI (Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa) in July!
“Being a veterinarian has been one of the most fulfilling and fun aspects of my life,” Dr. Mott says. “It gives me great pleasure to bond with owners and their pets as well as being a source of cutting edge technology and information to aide in prolonging their pet’s health. It’s a beautiful thing when the quality of life of the pet and the owner is improved with this relationship.”
