Thirty-two College of Veterinary Medicine veterinary students traveled to Las Vegas last weekend to participate in the 57th Annual American Association of Swine Veterinarians Conference.
In addition to attending the conference, the students gave oral presentations and presented posters at the conference. Award and scholarship recipients include:
- $10,000 AASVF-Merck Veterinary Student Scholarship – Ayva Bohr and Emma Zwart
- Student Seminar $2,500 Scholarship – Jinnan Xiao and Emma Zwart
- Student Seminar $1,500 Scholarship – Ben Hollis and Johanna Vandenack
- Student Seminar $500 Scholarship – Nicole Villalon
- Student Poster $400 Scholarship – Abigayle Brown and Heath Keiser
- Student Poster $200 Scholarship – Lee Ammons, Ella Moll, Abbey Pals and Amanda Pisarczyk
