Reece Award for Outstanding Academic Advising, the SAVMA Teaching Excellence in Basic Sciences, and the College of Veterinary Medicine\u2019s Award for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching.<\/p>\n<p>Rowe has served on several college-wide committees at Iowa State including the College Admissions Committee, which he chaired from 2023-25. He was the faculty advisor for Iowa State\u2019s Pre-Veterinary Club from 2013-18 during which time that organization hosted the National Pre-Veterinary Symposium and the Midwest Pre-Veterinary Symposium on campus.<\/p>\n<p>Rowe earned his DVM in 1999 and a PhD in veterinary anatomy and neuroscience in 2005, both from Iowa State.
