March 16, 2020
The College of Veterinary Medicine is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 outbreak. As you know, this is a rapidly changing situation. Based on the current situations, the following changes in operations are being implemented immediately.
Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center
Effective immediately through April 5, 2020, the small and large animal hospitals will only see patients when it is critical to the health of the animal or the economic viability of the client. The LVMC will reassess the situation the week of March 30 and the period of patient restrictions may be extended if conditions warrant.
Additionally no clients will be allowed inside the hospital. Upon arrival, clients will contact the hospital and the LVMC will bring the patient inside the facility and then consult via phone with the client.
Veterinary Field Services
Veterinary Field Services will continue to see patients when it is critical to the health of the animal or the economic viability of the client.
Veterinary Pathology will continue to provide pathology services.
Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory
The Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory is still operating under a normal schedule.
Thank you for your understanding during this dynamic situation. Please stay healthy and vigilant.
