Highland Coos
One of Scotland’s trademark icons are the highland cows (called coos by the locals). They are harder to find than you’d think; we stumbled on this herd accidentally in a rural area in the highlands. They took the term “gentle giant” quite literally and had a line of us waiting to offer them a pet and some greens.
