The College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University is a premiere institution providing an excellent veterinary education. We continue to renovate and enhance our hospital and classrooms to provide quality healthcare to the public and an exceptional education to our students. Tours of the college are provided by the Veterinary Ambassadors, students who are enrolled in the professional curriculum. Tours are held on selective days during the fall and spring semesters at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tours are limited in size and individuals are advised to sign up early.
Prospective students may register for student tours online. NOTE: If a time is not available for a particular date that tour is full, we are not accepting additional reservations for that date and time. Individuals wishing to schedule a large group tour should Deanna Gerber at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tours are for prospective students who are 15 years or older. The College of Veterinary Medicine is an educational and medical facility. Tours include the various classrooms and associated technology, and the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center (small and large animal hospitals). While a tour of the College of Veterinary Medicine is not appropriate for young, school-aged children, there is a lot to discover at Iowa State University including our ISU Farms.
