The College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University is a premiere institution providing an excellent veterinary education. We continue to renovate and enhance our hospital and classrooms to provide quality healthcare to the public and an exceptional education to our students. Tours of the college are provided by the Veterinary Ambassadors, students who are enrolled in the professional curriculum. Tours are held on selective days during the fall semester at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tours are limited in size and individuals are advised to sign up early.
Prospective students may register for student tours online. NOTE: If a time is not available for a particular date that tour is full and we are not accepting additional reservations for that date and time. individuals wishing to schedule a large group tour should Deanna Gerber at email@example.com.
Tours are for prospective students who are 15 years or older. The College of Veterinary Medicine is an educational and medical facility. Tours include the various classrooms and associated technology, and the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center (small and large animal hospitals).
Students attending Experience Iowa State
The College of Veterinary Medicine offers an information session and tour for prospective high school students considering a pre-vet course of study during Experience Iowa State. Individuals wishing to attend these sessions and tours should contact Deanna Gerber at firstname.lastname@example.org to register. An hour-long tour will begin at 2:30 p.m. each day followed by 30 minute pre-vet information session. Activities will be completed by 4 p.m. each day.

Directions and Parking Information
Directions to the College of Veterinary Medicine are online. Visitors who are coming to the college for tours should enter campus off of South 16th Street (Entrance B). Parking is available in Lot 96 and individuals should enter the building at the "Flag Pole Entrance." Guests may fill out a visitor parking permit online.
