After a week-long of sleepless nights and eating Maruchan ramen soups, finals week is now over! It is incredible to think that the first two years of vet school are over; and there are only two more years of vet school to go. I am currently on the road back to Los Angeles, with my cat Maddy by my side. We stopped in Denver, Colorado for the night and we’re on our way to spend the night in Mesquite, Nevada.
Since this is my last summer break while in vet school, my plans entail spending as much time with family and friends, as well as doing some vet tech work and pet sitting on the side.
Some of the events I’m looking forward to are the Strawberry Festival in Oxnard, the Harry Potter live orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl, and taking a trip to San Diego for the Pin and Patch Convention, just to name a few.
I cannot wait to enjoy the summer nights with friends at the outdoor movie events and chowing down on some delicious eats from the local food trucks! Well, it’s time for me to hit the road once more.
Thank you to all of my readers for taking the time to reading my blogs this year, and I can’t wait to share with you my adventures in my third year of vet school!
Until next time,
