Dr. Alan Younkin (’83)
A new documentary, “Iowa Vet: Dogs, Cats, Corn & Murder,” looks at Alan Younkin reflecting on growing up on an Iowa farm, building an animal hospital in the big city, confronting upheavals transforming his profession, and navigating the unexpected chapters that helped shape his life. The documentary is co-directed by Younkin’s husband Michael Schelp. The documentary recently concluded a two-week run at a movie house in New York City.
