A Le Mars (Iowa) veterinarian is now exclusively making house calls. Gentle Paws Veterinary opened for practice in early November by owner Amanda Harris. “Over the years working in brick and mortar, we’ve had lots of people ask us, as veterinarians and the technicians even, whether we did home visits whether it was for euthanasia or for dogs that were too big or arthritic or even just clients that have trouble getting out and around and didn’t have vehicles,” Harris explained.
