Dr. Gene Hoy (’69)
After decades of serving as the veterinarian at the Iowa State Fair’s Animal Learning Center, Gene Hoy took on a new role as a celebrity showman at the fair’s Governor’s Charity Steer Show. Hoy showed “All on Red,” a steer owned by Hailey Pedrick of Ollie, Iowa, which was sponsored by the District 20 Cattlemen’s Associations.
