In the moment that pet owners dread most, Jessie Lacox Jenkins a veterinarian ready to deliver compassionate care and advice – right to their doorstep. Jenkins serves Warren County in Iowa and the surrounding area with Lap of Love, the Iowa chapter of a national company that offers in-home pet hospice, euthanasia and after care. “I’ve always been an emphatic person growing up, but once I got to be a vet, I could really put that into action,” she said. “I could do things to help end the suffering of pets.”
