Dr. June Park-Kohler (’19)
June Park-Kohler planned to be in Portland, just not the one where she ended up. Park-Kohler opened Nose to Tail Animal Clinic in Portland, Ind., beginning he process of building her own veterinary practice in the city she now calls home. After graduating from Iowa State, she had plans to head to Portland, Ore., when she felt the tug of the non-profit world and discovered an opportunity at Animal Rescue Fund in Muncie, Ind., before relocating to the Portland in Indiana. “I don’t know if I have a specific goal as long as we stay busy,” said Park-Kohler. “I would love to just stay busy and just be able to balance home and work hopefully well.”
