It was the first day of a new chapter for Orange City Family Animal Care. Owner Laura Vander Stelt opened the doors to her new location that day and later was welcomed with an even greater surprise – being named Iowa U.S. Senator Joni Ernst’s Small Business of the Week. “I was really kind of overwhelmed, but it was exciting,” Vander Stelt said. “It was insane. That was a really good end to our first day here.”
