Dr. Tyler Dohlman (’10)
CVM alumni and faculty members were well represented in the recent awards announced by the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA). Dr. Charles Holz (’76), a member of the Iowa House of Representatives from LeMars received the President’s Award, while Dr. Tyler Dohlman (2010), assistant professor of veterinary diagnostic and production animal medicine, was given the Rising Star Award. Another College of Veterinary Medicine faculty member, Dr. Amanda Fales-Williams, associate professor of veterinary pathology, and her husband, Dr. Bill Williams, owner of the Altoona Veterinary Clinic and Hubbell Animal Hospital, were named co-Veterinarians of the Year.
