Out of State Travel and Preceptorships

Dear Students,

Hope you are all doing well and enjoying in-person training.  Greatly appreciate all of your efforts in getting your training done on time and following our COVID-19 guidelines.

The University has removed restrictions on domestic travel.  This means, that effective immediately, there is no requirement for self-isolation after you return from an out of state preceptorship.  You are still required to complete our COVID Preceptorship Risk Assessment within 5 days of your travel and skip question #7.  International travel is still not permitted by the University.

It is also important to recognize that COVID-19 regulations continue to be fluid and are subject to change at any time.  We will continue to keep you posted as these changes occur.  If you have any questions feel free to contact Sandy Popelka (spopelka@iastate.edu) for VCS courses, Megan Jedlicka (meganjed@iastate.edu) for VDPAM courses, or Dr. Alex Ramirez (ramireza@iastate.edu).

Please continue to be safe and enjoy your training.
