Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine is full accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (AVMA COE). Careers include private practice, teaching, research, regulatory medicine, public health and military science.

DVM Program

The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine professional degree program is a four-year program with three years of pre-clinical classroom instruction followed by one year of clinical training in the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center.
