Research Focus & Interests  

Dr. Paul Merkatoris is a clinician in the ISU CVM food animal and camelid hospital. His clinical interest is surgery of the farm animal patient, especially orthopedics and minimally invasive surgery. He enjoys the clinical training of senior veterinary students, interns, and residents. His research interests include local antimicrobial delivery for surgical site infection and wound healing.
