Dr. Hedlund has returned to Iowa State University, her alma mater, and joined the Small Animal Surgery Department. She is world renown and has written numerous books, book chapters, and manuscripts on small animal surgery. Her special clinical interests in upper respiratory tract surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, surgical oncology, wound management and reconstruction.
Dr. Ho-Eckart recently completed her Small Animal Surgery residency at Oregon State University where she also received her MS in Veterinary Science. She is a 2004 graduate of the University of Sydney. Her interests include minimally invasive surgery and cardiovascular and thoracic surgery.
Dr. Zellner originally from Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University. He has combined his enthusiasm for sports and helping animals by maintaining involvement in the ISU IronDog Fund. He completed his residency at Iowa State.
Dr. Jaron Naiman grew up in sunny southern California and obtained his undergraduate degree in biology at UCLA. He attended veterinary school at the University of California Davis, and he just finished a Small Animal Rotating internship at Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles. Dr. Naiman is interested in the application of minimally invasive surgical treatments for small animal patients. Dr. Naiman is in his first year of surgical training.
