How to Refer a Client<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Additional appointment scheduling can be requested from the clinicians in the specialty area. If available, please send a pertinent summary of the patient history, results of recent lab work and radiographs. Lab work and radiographs may be repeated if the clinician of record feels it would be best for the patient’s diagnostic and treatment plan.<\/p>\n

If you need to ask questions about the case before sending us your referral, please use the\u00a0Case Consultation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Please submit case information for a referral to an LVMC specialty service. Only use the\u00a0referral submission if no immediate response is required from an LVMC clinician.<\/p>\n

We are excited to announce the transition to our Cyclone Veterinary Information System (CVIS) for all referral information sharing. The electronic submission process ensures that referral information is promptly and efficiently shared with the relevant services.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Navigate to the CVIS login page<\/a> (Need help? choose from the drop down ‘referring veterinarian’ to get started.)<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Sign in using your clinic\u2019s CVIS user credentials (OR request a new account by completing a CVIS Pre-Registration Form)<\/li>\n
  3. Choose \u201cVMC Consult\/Refer<\/strong>\u201d from the main menu and follow prompts to initiate a new referral<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
