Backing to the Ames High School tennis courts, baseball fields, and softball fields, you’ll enjoy wide-open views, extra privacy, and easy access to athletic events and recreational opportunities in your backyard.

You’ll have your own room, and share the bathrooms and kitchen. Although the rents range from $650 to $1050 + utilities, ISU students get a $100 discount. Those who rent on a yearly basis get an extra $100 discount.

Roommate Wanted

I’m going into my VM1 in the fall and I’m looking for a, preferably male, roommate. It is a double wide, 2-bedroom, 1-bath trailer in Old Orchard (306 Mulberry Boulevard) available for move-in anytime after July 24th, but available earlier if needed. It’s a ~7 minute walk to the vet school, and you get a parking spot in the driveway, along with a street parking pass. I’m currently in the process of remodeling the interior, along with the deck, so pictures are available upon request. I also have a kitten that will be 4 months old in July, so sadly no dogs.

Flat $500/month rent (utilities included)
Month to month basis (no fixed lease
Shared washer and dryer
Cats allowed as long as they are social with others
I will handle the general maintenance, shoveling, and lawn care

Looking for a roommate for the school year 2026-2027. This is a 2-bedroom, 1-bath house with a large, fenced-in yard and 1-car detached garage. It also has a big, unfinished basement for storage and laundry facilities on site. See pictures below from Zillow. Pet-friendly living, and I will have 2 senior dogs staying with me, but they are not included in rent. Expenses would be 1/2 the rent: $800 plus half of utilities. There is an $800 security deposit. I’m looking for a roommate for next year. The house is located at 102 Prairie View Dr. in Gilbert, about 15 minutes from the college. It’s pet friendly with a fenced yard, but I do have a large dog. Its a three-bedroom, one bath upstairs (I use one of the bedrooms as an office, and I think I could fit a second desk), and has a finished basement with a second bathroom. There is also a two- car garage. Rent was $1700/month this year ($850/ person).
