Jared Danielson, PhD

Dr. Jared Danielson, Ph.D is the director of the Office of Curricular and Student Assessment and Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pathology. Dr. Danielson has an M.S. degree in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation from Syracuse University, and a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Development from Virginia Tech. Dr. Danielson has published in the areas of instructional software design and assessment for problem solving, and teaching and learning in veterinary medical education, and has led numerous assessment efforts.


Melody Gustafson
Program Assistant II

Ms. Melody Gustafson serves as the Program Assistant for the Assessment Office joining the group in 2009. She offers many years' experience in data collection, data management, and communication skills as well as a broad base of knowledge in support operations. She received her Bachelor's of Art in Political Science and Speech from Coe College.

Rebecca Burzette, PhD
Assistant Scientist

Dr. Burzette is an Assistant Scientist in the Assessment Office. She is responsible for using appropriate statistical techniques to analyze data and writing reports for the purpose of curricular improvement. She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1994 and has worked at Iowa State University since 1995.
