The four veterinarian practice is twenty years old and has a new 8000 square foot physical plant with inside haul in working facilities and modern field working equipment. Ultrasound, endoscope, X-ray with automatic processor, portable cattle tub, hydrolytic working chute and tilt table are some of the equipment available. Brookings has an approximate population of 23,000 and excellent culture and school environments. It is home to South Dakota State University with a student population of 12,700 students. Brookings is located fifty miles north of Sioux Falls, which has excellent air traffic connections and cultural activity for the three state area.
