The PhD degree requires 72 credits. Twelve must be taken outside of VPTH.

The departmental DVM requirement can be waived by the DEO for non-DVM students in Pathology.

The Pathology specialization will not prepare or qualify the student to sit for the examination for certification by the ACVP in anatomical or clinical pathology.
