ISU Veterinary Ophthalmologist Featured in AKC Canine Health Foundation Podcast

Dr. David Whitley, board-certified ophthalmologist at Iowa State University’s Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center, is featured in this week’s Genome Barks podcast produced by the American Kennel Club’s Canine Health Foundation. In the podcast, the AKC and Dr. Whitley discuss the Canine Eye Registration Foundation, what the exam entails, why participating in the CERF registry is important for breeders and owners, and what some of the most common eye diseases are in the dog.

The Genome Barks podcast series features lectures from the highly successful AKC and CHF Breeders Symposia and provides responsible breeders and pet owners an inside look at the work being done by the Canine Health Foundation.
