The Diagnostic Imaging service offers diagnostic radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, dynamic fluoroscopy, and small animal abdominal ultrasound. Diagnostic radiography for small and large animals, CT and MRI studies are currently evaluated through tele-imaging services.

The Diagnostic Imaging service runs general radiographic imaging equipment including portables, fluoroscopy equipment including portable fluoroscopy, MRI, Computer Tomography (CT or CAT Scan), Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine.
The service sees a variety of cases from every single specialty in the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center, performing more than 150 exams per week.
The most common cases the service sees are abdominal radiographs for animals that have eaten things they shouldn’t.
