Effective December 28, 2021
Dear Valued Client,
Iowa State University has implemented a mask requirement that will be in effect for the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center beginning Tuesday, December 28, 2021, and will continue until further notice. This policy has been implemented in both the Small and Large Animal Hospitals to protect the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, and clients while allowing us to continue to offer quality care for your animal.
If you do not have a mask at your time of arrival, one will be provided to you. Refusal to wear a mask could change your visit into a curbside visit, where we will take in your animal, but you will not be allowed into the hospital to directly interact with the students, staff, or clinicians. You will be asked to go back to your car, and all communication will be done via phone.
Again, please understand we are working hard to reduce risk to our students, staff, faculty, and clients so that we can continue to offer medical service to your pets and animals.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
