Neurotoxicology

Current departmental research includes the effect of drugs on membrane ion-channels, the role of environmental neurotoxic chemicals on the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases, dopaminergic neuronal loss, identification of novel targets for anti-parasitic drugs, and nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in nematodes.
