BIO
Dr. Tara Grinnage-Pulley completed her doctoral work in antimicrobial resistance of Campylobacter in 2013. Interest in the host-pathogen interaction led to postdoctoral studies at the University of Iowa researching the immune response to Leishmania parasite surface antigens. While there, she also served as veterinarian for field studies in dogs naturally infected with Leishmania. Currently Dr. Grinnage-Pulley is a veterinary medical officer for the National Cancer Institute within the National Institutes of Health.
