The College of Veterinary Medicine and the Hixson-Lied Small Animal Hospital are educational and medical facilities where sick animals are treated on a daily basis. As a result, non-prospective student tours are limited to veterinarians and animal health-related groups, and others on case-by-case basis.
College of Veterinary Medicine alumni and visiting veterinarians wishing a tour of the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center should contact Tracy Ann Raef at traef@iastate.edu in advance to make arrangements.
Tours are offered Monday through Friday.
