The College of Veterinary Medicine presented awards to faculty, staff and students during the Fall Convocation on Sept. 4. Recipients included:
- Merit Employees of the Year – Diane Perry and Lisa Smith, veterinary clinical sciences
- Resident of the Year – Dr. Robin White, veterinary clinical sciences
- Graduate Student/Post Doc of the Year – Dr. Jeba Jesudoss, veterinary pathology
- Service Team of the Year – Oncology Service, Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center
- International Service Award – Dr. Karl Kraus, veterinary clinical sciences
- Award for Outstanding Achievement in Extension or Professional Practice – Dr. Rodger Main, Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory
- Award for Early Achievement in Extension or Professional Practice – Dr. Chad Johannes, veterinary clinical sciences
- Award for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching – Dr. Eric Rowe, biomedical sciences
- Award for Early Achievement in Teaching – Dr. Matt Brewer, veterinary pathology
- Professional and Scientific Award – Phyllis Fisher, veterinary pathology
- Professional and Scientific New Professional Award – Ashley Rasmussen, veterinary clinical sciences
- Frederick Douglass Patterson Diversity and Inclusion Award – Dr. Heather Greenlee, biomedical sciences
- Award for Mid-Career Achievement in Research – Dr. Jodi Smith, veterinary pathology
- Award for Early Career Achievement in Research - Dr. Jonathan Mochel, veterinary diagnostic and production animal medicine & biomedical sciences
