Dr. Bruce Leuschen, senior clinician in the department of veterinary diagnostic and production animal medicine at Iowa State, is once again serving as the Iowa State Fair's veterinarian. He and his assistant veterinarians, along with several veterinary students are responsible for the health of the thousands of animals being exhibited, as well as those participating in special events. "We're at the fair 24/7, until Aug. 18. For us, like the state fair theme says 'Nothing Compares.' We are privileged to serve the people of Iowa in this role," Dr. Leuschen said.
