Current Students

Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine offers a four-year professional Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, a rigorous four-year professional degree program with three years in the classroom followed by a fourth year in clinical rotations, including the summer session, in both our small animal and large animal hospitals. Current DVM students have access to a variety of campus services ranging from tutoring and counseling to financial assistance. Numerous study abroad opportunities and a summer research program are available for current students. The Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine is fully accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association.
