No day is like another for Dr. Deborah Strauss. Strauss operates a mobile veterinary clinic in the Cedar Rapids area. “The life of a veterinarian is so unpredictable,” Strauss recently said. “As a mobile veterinarian, I never know if I will be stationed in the office or driving around to make house and farm calls all day. Sometimes I will have surgeries lined up and sometimes it will just be a house call for a small pet. In order to make my days as productive as possible, I know I just have to go with the flow.” The 1998 DVM graduate was recently featured on ideasmensch.com.
