Changing Behavior
E'Lise Christensen (’02)
E’Lise Christensen always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian behaviorist. “I had a long-term plan early in my life and always approached my education very specifically.” Now Christensen owns two veterinary clinics – one in the Denver suburbs and the other in the heart of New York City. At both locations, she works with pet owners, educating them on pet behavior. “By the time owners come to us, things are pretty bad,” she said. “It’s a very difficult situation. When someone gets a pet, the last thing they expect to have a problem with are behavior issues. But I know they truly love their animal because they came to us.”
