A New Role

After graduating from Iowa State, Jake Johnson settled into a mixed-animal practice in Imperial, Nebraska, spending six years at that clinic. When he decided to move on, he did so for a simple reason - his new clinic was owned by his brother-in-law in Sundance, Wyoming. Working with cattle is Johnson's favorite part of his new job - a skill he'll be getting plenty of opportunity to exercise over the coming weeks. "Calving season has taken off in the last week," he said.
