Flying Veterinarian Veteran

From a young age, Jeff Husa knew he wanted to fly, but little did he know how far those instincts would lead him. He has served 25 years in the Nebraska Army National Guard as a helicopter instructor, logging more than 3,000 hours of flight time and instructing more students than he can recall. Now residing in Sioux Center, Iowa, Husa has worked at Boehringer Animal Health for the last 23 years. “With my veterinarian side, that was my career and what kept our lights on,” Husa said. “My career as a pilot was one of the most incredible, I would say, hobbies that someone could have.”
