Switching Things Up

For years, Mitch Hiscocks was the quiet, determined force behind the development of the modern library in Carroll, Iowa. But after three decades in Carroll, Hiscocks is returning to the College of Veterinary Medicine where he will serve on the college’s faculty. “I still have my health,” he said. “I still have a great interest in veterinary medicine, and I have something to share. I’m going to feed energy off of these students.” Leaving Carroll won’t be easy though. Hiscocks was a fixture in the community with his Carroll Veterinary Clinic practice and as president of the Carroll Library Foundation.
