Dr. Polly Murphy (’89)

Polly Murphy’s veterinary career has taken her to China and now the chief business officer of UroGen Pharma and as a member of the Board of Directors of Atea Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the discovery and development of next-generation therapeutics for severe viral infections. “It is an honor to join ATea’s Board particularly at this time when there is such urgent need for safe and effective antiviral therapeutics,” said Murphy, who also earned a PhD in veterinary pathology in 1994 from Iowa State.
