Celebrating 60 Years of Veterinary Medicine

“It’s been quite a while and quite the experience.” William Frevert of Emmetsburg, Iowa, is celebrating 60 years of practicing veterinary medicine and his hometown newspaper recently chronicled his story. Throughout his career, Frevert has been involved in his community. But the proud Iowa State alumnus was also an instrumental voice in securing funding to construct the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center. He was also a frequent visitor to state legislative sessions speaking on issues regarding animal agriculture and funding concerns.
